Truck Driver or Concrete Mixer Driver (Granby)

Purpose of the position

The responsibility main duty of the concrete mixer driver is to deliver the product in good condition to the customer according to the place and time scheduled.

Responsibilities

Truck maintenance

Proceed to inspecting the concrete mixer before each loading and completing the daily mechanical inspection report;
Wash the cement mixer with return it to ensure it is clean before performing the next load;
Notify the foreman of any major damage observed and bring the truck to the garage when the damage permits;
Ensures compliance with the list of scheduled maintenance and completes the mechanical check sheet when a maintenance arrives. maturity;
Keep the truck clean (inside and outside) at all times:
Informs his immediate superior of minor and major damage observed. 

Delivery

Make sure to obtain the delivery note before his departure and that he brings all the components indicated on the note (adjuvants and others);
Controls liquidity concrete (subsidence) according to the instructions provided and notifies the dispatcher/doser when non-compliant; 
Informs you of the route to browse, if necessary;
Drives his vehicle with caution, vigilance and attention at all times to prevent accidents from occurring.

S’ informs the customer’s representative to obtain the information necessary to carry out the unloading;
Makes on-site adjustments to the mix to meet customer requirements;
Complete the information requested on the delivery note;
Takes note and forwards to his immediate superior the useful information he has gathered from the customer.

Other tasks

Respect the highway code and health rules. and security at work ;
Participate according to his availability. the stripping of the blocks and the tasks used to the  plant maintenance;
Performs any other task requested by his immediate superior or required by his functions.
